COUNCIL #10921
ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER
OREFIELD, PA US

Who are the Knights? We are husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers just like you – ordinary Catholic
gentlemen, armed with our faith who want to make this a better world, one day and one Knight at a
time. We volunteer our time and commit our hearts to God. We find camaraderie and a shared sense of
purpose in whatever we do, whether it is running a youth free throw contest, helping widows and home
bound brother Knights with yard clean up and minor home repair, setting up the Nativity, or simply
enjoying each other’s company at our summer parish picnic and family Christmas party.
We have a very active council here at St Joseph the Worker Church. We host events like our annual corn
hole and golf tournaments, St Patrick’s Dance and Night at the Races that enables our council to support
our school, the parish and local charities like Cay Galgon Life House, Mercy School for Special Learning,
and Habitat for Humanity. We provide Coats for Kids and donate food gift cards to the Divine Mercy
Food Pantry, helping families in need. We reach out beyond our diocese, helping victims of natural
disasters, and veterans through our support of Tunnels to Towers and Wreaths Across America. We’ve
donated over $75,000 to help young men become priests and young women like Sister Immaculata
Marie pursue their vocation to religious life.
For as much as we have accomplished, there is still much work yet to be done. We need your help and
invite you, good Catholic men of this parish, who are 18 years or older, to join us and become a Knight.
Simply go to https://www.kofc.org/secure/en/join/join-kofc.html. Enter “10921” as your preferred local
council. A member of the council will reach out to you for the next steps.
Become a Knight of Columbus and grow in your faith. Become a Knight of Columbus to give something
back for the many blessings you have received. Become a Knight of Columbus to set an example of
service for generations to come. You’ll be glad that you did.
